Macintosh Tutorial I was the instructional designer for the Macintosh Tutorial, a computer-based training program for new users of the Macintosh. The tutorial guides users through basic tasks with the use of "coachmarks" (red circles). Users interact with real interface elements (rather than illustrations or simulations), so they are better able to transfer learning from the tutorial to real-world tasks. Awards The Macintosh Tutorial received the Award of Excellence in the 1995 international competition of the Society for Technical Communication.
